A Heritage Committee has been established to ensure that Melbourne General Cemetery’s rich history is preserved for future generations.

The primary objective of the committee is to develop and review policy in relation to recording significant historic artifacts and documents at Melbourne General Cemetery and to make recommendations as to their preservation.
